Default How good is the Diablo Sport Tuner?

I was just wondering how good the Diablo Sport Tuner is, Iwas thinking about picking one up off of eBay but I am not sure if I should or not.I already bought a JLT cai so I need to get a tuner to use it.
Thanks

mAKE SURE THE TUNER IS FOR THE gt AND THAT IT IS NOT LOCKED.
Darn caps lock
If you are going to get a custom tune from a local tuner with a dyno,
call them and see what they support. X-Cal or Diablo.

No complaints here either. I am not sure if I would buy it off ebay. Bamachips is selling used diablos for $250 and Doug has installed 3 tunes in it.

I like mine easy to use, but the dissadvantage is no shops in the metro atlanta area like to make custom tunes on the diabloThey are more than willing to make a custom tune for the x-cal, sct etc..

The situation is about the same in Kansas City. If the shop tuning the car does not have the Diablo software, they are limited to using the parameters in the tuner unit itself. You would be wise to see what the tuner shop you use/may use in the future. If they have SCT software, they will push for you to buy an Xcal. ProChargers ship with Diablos. ProCharger tuned mine, so it wasnt an issue.

Both hand tuners work fine with whatever tune is put in. Its just that the adjustability is limitedwhen a shop doesnt have the supporting software for it.

Everybody says it's unlocked, but sometimes it's not. The seller, like in my situation could make an honest mistake and have it tuned to factory hp thinking that is setting to set it back to stock. Good thing I bought mine from a local seller. He had it set at factory hp. At the time I didn't know how to set it back to stock, so I called diablo. I met back up with the seller and told him how to set it back to stock. He didn't know how to do it. Finally everything was resolved.
