How many hours of labor to install a MGW Short Throw Shifter?
I'm taking it to the dealership (I know, I know) since I'm not confident enough to do it on my own so what would be the absolute MAX they should charge me for this? 2 hours?
I have no performance shops in my area to do it either so it's kind of a last resort but my dealership does warranty anything they install for 12,000 miles so it's a benefit to pay a bit more, i guess.

well someone who has experience should be able to perform this in about 1.5 hours and they will have a lift...ppl in there garage on jack stands can take from 2-3 hours so it all depends on there experience and if they have done on b4...

It does not take long at all. I think I spent more time jacking the car up then actually installing the shifter Realistically, 2-3 hours sounds about right for someone doing it on their own. A professional with a lift should take a lot less.

I had a local transmission shop install an MGW Shifter on my last car (02 Mustang GT). Did it in less than an hour and only charged me 50$.
