4.10 + stock pirellis = ???
So I was originally planning on waiting until after I get wheels and tires to get 4.10s. But after this string forced me to get new tires early and I ended up having to get another set of the stock 235/55-17 Pirellis I am rethinking waiting. Since I will probably wait a little longer to get wheels and tires so I'm not abandoning brand new tires I was thinking of going to 4.10 earlier.
So how much traction trouble going to have to deal with if I put 4.10s on the stock 235 Pirellis? Anyone running 4.10s with the stock tires? Am I going to be able to get any traction from a stop? Or will I be having to work much much harder at that?

I have stock pirelli's and 4.10's.
Zero problems.
Full traction from any gear.
I can also break them loose when I want to.
Or, I can sit here and spin them all day long.
Of course, that's a little bit of an exaggeration, as I tend to get sideways a bit, but I have to choose to let up for the wheels to get a grip.
If you are an average or better driver, you should not have any problems.
