looks good I know how bad black can be. The porter cable is a black car's best friend.

Try the "one-step" detailing process with Prolong's Waterless Wash and Shine...does it all without having to involve a bucket and water. Use it every couple of days or so and you'll never have to wash your vehicle again.

Great stuff...I've used it for years. Get it through Prolong's Main site (some other sites carry it in their inventory).

What's up with all the Dawn dish detergent use? I understand this trend started out with the use of Zaino sealants where they recommend washing the vehicle once with Dawn to remove grease, oil, waxes and such before applying Zaino. Afterwhich, put the Dawn back under the kitchen sink as you won't need to use it again. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe people have since lost the original requirement for using Dawn and now arerecommending its use on false information passed done from one to another. You know how those things go.

The car looks great! I have detailing stuff ordered along with a PC polisher. Soon, I will have a very shiny deep candy apple red Mustang to show off.

Good god do not use dish detergent of any kind (unless to WANT to remove your wax).

You guys are the BEST! except you all are going to put me in the poor house. SO I read this post when it started then ordered the Prolong's waterless wash and shine. Got it in the mail yesterday, then just did a small section on the lower rear quarter panel. Really works! and it actually felt like it was just waxed. This weekend I will wash with Obsessive Details no rinse wash (need a bucket of water) and see how that quarter panel feels after a wash compared to the rest of the car. I can't believe how far we've come with car care/detailing.

Thanks everyone for making this recommendation.
