Default 2 Step car detailing!!! Saves so much time

Like I'm sure a lot of you, I always use a4 step detailing system to really clean the car up. I tried a much simpler method today and wanted to share the results. I ditched the claybar and compound I generally use (steps 1 and 2) and step 3 which is polish, was replaced by this. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone who hasn't clayed their car in the past few months. I purchased a fairly new product from Wolfgang (Concours-Series Total Swirl Remover) It claims to take the place of both the compound and polish. Judge for yourself below

YEah, sorry. I've been out in the sun too long today. 1st sep is wash (I gnerally use a car wash soap, but many people recommend Dawn as it removes a lot of grime) I also failed to mention I use a Porter Cable DA type polisher to apply the swirl remover. It can be done by hand, it just takes longer

the problem with the dish shoaps is it washes away the wax. and cuts through it. Using a car wash soap would be a better bet and better for the paint.

From what i hear.

Dish soap has abrasives in it....that's where your swirls are coming from

I would only use dish detergent before a clay bar. It does remove all your wax. I normally use a car wash soap with carnube wax in it. I use a caifornia duster and Ice spray detailer between washes and as a result I don't have to wash the car that often.I wash it about once every 4-6 weeks.
