or you dont even have to buy a shorty. you could take that little ball off of the top of the antenna, cut it to preferable length, than put the ball back on and screw it back on the car.. thats what I did and it worked awesomely. Looks factory..

I have heard that before. I actually looked at my antenna and didn't try real hard to pull the ball off, but it didn't seem to want to come off. Like I said, I didn't try real hard because I didn't want to break it or bend it. It looked like the ball was part of the antenna to me. Is it hard to get the ball off?

how hard was that to paint the engine there and what all did you have to do to get it done? looks amazing, and what chin spoiler is that?

It really wasn't hard at all to paint. Just removed the battery, CAI, and engine cover, then removed the fuel rails, throttle body, and the valve covers (there is a how to on this site). I sanded everything real good, cleaned everything with brake parts cleaner, sprayed 3 coats of primer, 4 coats of paint, and 4 coats of clear. Let it dry over night, and reinstall. The chin spoiler is the CDC classic spoiler.

I bought the rear spoiler off of eBay back in February from one of the stores on there called Partz Biz. I just went there and the guy has nothing at all for sale now....sort of weird. I paid $70 for the spoiler and $30 for shipping. I thought it was a pretty good deal. It was unpainted and brand new.
