Boost.
No offense...but what part of "keeping the car N/A" means I want boost?

And cams may not be considered bolt ons...but that's what I want to do.

I'm wondering where cams and headers would put me with what I have...and the tune of course.

I'm close to an AWESOME mustang shop here in the Metroplex. Don't know if any of you have heard of Gearheads or not.

take this with a grain of salt...july 08 issue of modified mustangs and fords, page 123,has an article where galpin autosports built a na 07 mustang to the tune of 420 rwhp, and with the nitrous they got 630 rwhp.forged internals, cams, ported, udp's, aluminum driveshaft and flywheel, exhaust. if this is true...then 350 should be no problem. happy modding!

imo - cams, full exhaust, one piece driveshaft, good clutch/flywheel, cai, UDPs, and cm deletes is where you would probably find close to the 350 youre looking for. The tune is gonna be where its at though - the sum of those parts are only as good as the tune you are on. 350 is attainable and if it all leaves you craving more then spring for the CNC p/p heads and a set of 4.10 gears. The car should be a beast, and with some tires/suspension upgrades you should be pretty darn quick down the 1320.

How close to 350 whp will cams and LT headers get me?

What else would I need after those 2 things to acheive 350?

Thanks.

A miracle or a good deal of money...sorry to say...almost might just be worth going the F/I route...if u don't want to then expect to pay close to the same amount for the N/A to the max

Thanks bro...I do already have 4.10's though

I absolutely LOVE the gears...I will NEVER go back to stock after having the 4.10's

Ok, I guess someone will have to explain to me.

If LT headers, heads and cams are capable of hitting or exceeding 350 then why to I want to go F/I?

Turbo/supercharger is going to cost $5K plus $1K for install.

Your still looking at about half of that for Cams, heads, dyno, headers. It would be very interesting to see this and hear this set up.

Bye the way your car looks freakin nice with the wheels. Nice color combo

i dont see what all the fightings about. intake, tune, headers, o/r xpipe, 1 piece d/s . you figer about 20for the intake/tune(290). maby 25-30 for the headers and xpipe(315-320). about another 20(325-335) for the d/s, maby 10 for the udps(335-345). this isassumingyour car put down 270ish from the factory, which is well in the normal range, and you get the better of end of the normal gains for said mods. when you go cam, even with a mild cam, you should be over 350. its not hard. i didnt put cm deletes because i can think of the power gains off the top of my head. hope this helped.

See that's what I've been getting at...

I'll take 350ish instead of low 400's if it costs me about half.

I'd rather spend $3K and get 350 than spend $5K and get 425

Thanks, the car just needs to be lowered now.

See this has been my issue understanding what some have been saying about "impossible."

A good number of people here with intake, tune, UDP and maybe headers are putting down about 300. Some are close to 300 with that set-up minus the headers.

So I don't see how 350 is going to be so difficult...but who knows.

That is my plan though...stay N/A and get to 350
