I got my Tri-Ax from one of our sponsors.... American Muscle, they were prompt great service and even asked me how I had heard of them and when I said mustangforum.com they said, Oh you get a discount! Just PM the guys from AM and they will hook you up!

Don't put anything in there but a MGW. You may be SATISFIED with another brand but... never drive a car with a MGW afterwords because you'll be sorry you don't have one!

Hurst $150
TriAx $200
MGW $300

Funny thing is the free market works. Thats just about what each is worth.
Hurst has the classic look but Triax is just a little better in my opinion.
MGW is just about twice the shifter.
(Ive driven all three).

Like Gene K said, you get what you pay for. I had the B&M first which I got for $115.00. It was better than stock but I knew there had to be better. So I pulled the trigger and got the MGW.

The MGW is fantastic. I was just impressed by how it was packaged. Each piece is individually labeled and it came with an installation video. The shifting feel is great and it is quiet.

I cant find the triax any cheaper than $275. The MGW is definately the best of the best but it costs to much imo. Doubt I can find it used either and its only available through mgw so there is competition for a better price.

Call American Muscle and tell them you are a member here. I think my Tri-Ax was $250 shipped!
