I have the Hurst shifter. I love it. Looks great. Nice firm shifts. Very short throw. Kinda notchy but I'm use to it. Around $150. Installed myself. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

I have the Steeda tri axe and love it. Pretty much all the shifters for our cars are nice, some give you that race car feel with that notchy feel. There is one (forgot the name) that is very smooth if you like that kind of feeling. I am sure others will chime in who have it. I myself picked the Steeda because of there history of quality and there research and development is second to none. I had a steeda shifter in my fox and it had over 80k of abuse and still shifted like it as brand new.

I have a Hurst shifter, I paid $140 for it used back when they were impossible to find. I love it, but I think if I had the money I might have went with a MGW instead.

I too have the Steeda Tri-Ax and love it! Works great, locates third easy, positve stops are nice and once I added some Dynamat there is little to no extra road noise

I have the Roush shifter and love it.. It takes ALOT of the deadzone out of it.. I'm very well pleased with it.. It was worth the money.. If you decide on it, go ahead and get the shifter arm and retro ball.. If feels great.. Any way you go, its a great choice to get a new shifter..
