Ok, this might have been posted before but because this forum software is well lets just say not the best out there, I couldn't find an answer..

I just bought my 08 GT about 2 weeks ago and can't figure out what the "Phone" iconed button on our raido does, I've checked the manual and it only states its the phone button (DUH!) and I even called the dealer and asked and they told me if I bought an add-on it would work with cell phones.. OK what cell phones?, what add-on?, where do I get one? does that mean bluetooth? there answer was they didn't know... Humm starting to rethink my purchase here..

So if anyone of you know what this button does or can do, please reply with links, info, etc... Thanks!

 

it will act as a MUTE when you are listening to the radio, and when listening to CDs it will act the same as a PAUSE button.

 

Well this doesn't happen in mine, once pushed it says "No Phone" on the display..

 

thats realy Odd.. My 08 Gt with shaker 500 it just mutes the radio when I push

 

Mine says no phone as well.

 

Anyone having anymore idea's?

Thank you for that reply, but as my first post stated, I've done this!!

 

It states it to mute the sound, i think it only works with a phone hooked up somehow. Maybe you manual is different but that backs up what the dealer is telilng you.

 

See mine doesn't have the mute and phone logo, mine only has a phone, and when you hit it it says "No Phone" in the text area, and doesn't mute the media playing.
