what blub type am i looking for for my 06 gt??

and whats the diff between the 55w and the 35w?? are the 55w's brighter or something??
Yours takes H13/9008

The 55w are 20%-30% brighter than the standard 35w HID output.

Yes, high beams still work.
There are some pics in these forums, where is a bit difficult with the "search" function still out of order.
This guy has them on his stang and RSX too, as well at least one other car he owns too. These are from his RSX:

Not at all. First, the actual heat produced by the HID bulbs, even our 55w bulbs, is still less than the standard halogen bulbs that come with your vehicle. So there is less chance your headlamps could melt. The second is our ballasts use <6.5 amps at start-up for the 35w version, and <7.5 amps for the 55w. That is the lowest you find in the market, typically you will find ballasts that eat up close to 15-17 amps at initial start-up, those are the cheap ones you would need to worry about damaging your wiring. Our ballasts are 100% safe for the stock wiring at these low amps, but even so the mustang require use of our bixenon kits to maintain low and high beam functions. To do this a relay harness, which is dedicated plug and play wiring for the kit, is required to operate the high beam function and the ballasts are conveintly tied into this as well. SO, not that you need to use it because of power draw, but the harness is there anyway to remove all demand from the stock wiring, keep everything simple, make it lookclean, and make it easy to install.

Hey Todd. Ill get pics of them from the view of inside the 3 cars I have them in. (Saleen, Rsx, and Expedition EL) The 5k kit is on my Expedition and i think its the best OEM look. It is super pure white and i love it. I plan on taking those and putting them into my saleen.(6k and so is RSX). i Think 8 K is too blue for my taste. Anyone looking for a close to OEM color, but want an aftermarket feel to it, get the 5k.
