Well for me I replaced my battery because it was dead when I bought the car and wouldn't hold a charge. Granted, I bought the car wrecked and I know it sat for an entire year so I am sure that had something to do with it.

ok, so if i go to say, autozone or o'reillys......do i just tell 'em what i drive, and pick one?
Go by the group code.
Its on the OEM battery somewhere.
Look on yours and get the same group battery.
The group is the physical size of the battery.

These batteries are having some problems. That said I wonder how many of them are getting damaged by being deep cycled from stuck amps with the Shaker System. I do not know one GT Deluxe or V6 Driver without a Shaker thats had to replace their batteries.

Johnson Controls also makes batteries for costco and interstate if i remember correctly. I replaced a battery in my truck with a costco battery.

I will not use a Diehard again. I had to replace my '95's D.H. twice in one year, them they stopped making the battery so I had to get one with less cranking amps and that one soon died out on my too.

I am getting ready to replace my current OEM battery in the '11 as it will die after about an hour of listening to the radio when the car is not running.

I didn't have good luck with the Optima Red. I went back to OEM for 1/2 the price.
