Driving home on the turnpike, a Mazda RX-8 pulls up next to me and starts revving his engine.
I guess I'm a big chicken because I didn't challenge him. Good thing though as about a mile up the road was a patrolman with a radar gun!

Damn! Good deal! The GTs' are very hard to come by in California, especially with a manual trans, and if you do find one here, they are charging $4k over MSRP.

Good idea not to race the Mazda. You would have been able to beat him anyway. Especially in a straight line. The RX8 is an impressive car but torque is not one of it's strong points.
You should have intimidated him him and let off right away and watched him fly past the cop. THAT would have been funny.

Nice ride, welcome to the forums. Now breaker her in nice and easy. I veried my speed a lot for the first 2000 miles. With 5700 on her now, she really rips !!

I am surprised I haven't been ticketed yet.
