Default rotors

I live in Hawaii and my rotors get nasty and rusty as hell if I let my car sit for more then a few hours after driving. What are a good set of after market rotors that I can get that aren't going to rust and are not to expensive and where can I get them? Thanks

That's normal for it to do. I wouldn't worry about it unless you are really looking for an excuse to buy new rotors. But if that's the car, just man up and say.. "I WANT NEW ROTORS..."

Isn't that the reason why slotted and cross drilled rotors were introduced? Besides the asbestos problems which turned out to be a hoax? I don't think the factory ones would withstand it better than aftermarket ones, but hey im no pro

Rotors are gonna rust no matter what you do. If you want to minimize it as much as possible, you'll have to buy new rotors. Paint them with a high temp aluminum colored paint. It will keep all the parts not touching the pads looking good for a long time. The sides where the pads touch are always susceptible to rusting. Nothing you can do about it.
