Default Tech question need help !!!

I'M A PROUD OWNER OF 07 GT. EVER SINCE i INSTALLED THE BBK THROTTLE BODY I HAVE BEEN HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE CARS RPM. ONCE U REV IT UP PAST 4 GRAND THE RPM WILL STAY THERE FOR AT LEAST 5 SECONDS AFTER U GET UR FOOT OFF THE PEDAL AND THEN IT WILL SLOWLY START DROPING. SOUNDS LIKE CRAP AND IT PISSES ME OFF. IF ANYONE ELSE HAD A SIMILAR PROBLEM PLZ LET ME KNOW HOW TO FIX IT !!! THANKS A LOT GUYS FOR ANY SUGGESTIONS AND HELP U MIGHT HAVE FOR ME !!!

Wish I could help you out. I have never heard one good thing about replacing the TB on these cars....seems like it always gives people problems. I'm not touching mine.

THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT IT IT SOUNDS AWESOME CUZ IT WHISTLES LIKE A TURBO AND IT GIVES U THAT EXTRA KICK WHEN TOUCH THAT PEDAL !!!

What is the point of installing a BBK throttle body? There is no power gain and it makes your car run like crap. If you had researched this first you would have found that everybody who installed one regretted it.

the spring inside that you switched out is your problem. when you moved it from one tb to the other tb it sounds like you didnt adjust and prime it right. so the spring isnt doing what it should. I agree with above that there no after market tb that is consistent. so i would advise to go back to stock or look up the proper spring pressure and then reattach.

I bought the GMS one and it did the same exact thing. There's no point to getting one unless you're F/I, and then you should probably upgrade to the GT500 TB.
