Ok, now the obvious question, which one is sold in the best package, with the best deal?
Edit: give me links and i will love you forever!
also, is an intercooler necessary if its going to be mainly a daily driver?

Any of those are fine. If you want to save money get the vortech.

i think the IC would be much better for DD
it will run cooler, and cooler is better
heat is bad
and if you ever want to upgrade and up the boost later the IC will already be there, and when you buy it in the package it is cheaper than buying piece by piece
i think the whipple HO isa very goodTS package bc of the GT500 fuel pump, a $700 add on to the other SC packages, it will allow for safe hp above 450-500. and again if you decide later to up the hp, the fuel pump will already be there.
if you are looking for a deal, you can PM any of the sites sponsors for a quote and i'm sure they can give you a deal for less than retail

Yep - get an IC version for a DD. If you like putting a lot of miles on the car and it gets warm where you live at all - I would scratch the procharger from the list. I would stick with a water cooled system for a DD.

+1 on Saleen if your goal is 450. For a TS, I'd only recommend Whipple or Saleen. KB's run too hot, they're like giant heat soaks on top of your engine.

Differences between Saleen and Whipple - sound (Whipple's louder), and appearance (I think Saleen looks better). They'll both get you to 450 without breaking a sweat. All the Saleens are intercooled, Whipples are sold either way. Yes, I'd recommend an intercooled one.

Im leaning towards whipple because of the whole TS thing, I just love instant boost, thats what I was thinking TS had over centri
if you want instant boost then def go TS but if you want the benefits of the centri (high RPM levels, building boost, more power overall, you plan on drag racing, etc....) then go with turbos. Centri superchargers are like a crappy mix of Turbos and Superchargers that cant beat a turbo at the track and cant beat a TS on the street so bleh I wouldnt get one if you really plan on being a master of a given field.

my 2 cents dont hate me centri guys its just an opinion

Ignorance is bliss.

So quick question, why is the TS a better street racing option than a centri?

I think whipple looks better, its actually a blower with a better intake and route. Saleen is just a cover and intake looks stock. You cannot tell me the saleen cover looks better than a cromed out whipple or kenne Bell. Get the Kenne bell 2.4/ 2.6or whipple 2.3. If you want more power at less psi i would probably get the kB 2.6. An intercooled KB will be fine for a daily driver at 450 hp.

As far as Centris, i like the procharger and paxton. I heard the paxton sl series is the way to go. I like watching jr gitten and that car performs. My opinion, centris are just as good if not better for the street. It all depends on the driver.

If i was going to get a centri i would probably go with the procharger cause it has that sweet whistle at idle but i still like my fine whine.
