Default Panhard bar installation?

I've got a BMR panhard bar that I'm looking to install this weekend. Going over the instructions its says "With the suspension loaded, lube each grease fitting...". The next step says "Remove stands and lower the vehicle." I was thinking that "loading the suspension" was putting the full weight of the car on the springs. But I can't be right. How can I load the suspension and THEN lower the car? What am I missing?

put the jackstands under the axle housing. it'll be loaded. after you're finished, pull the jackstands out.
