Default Questions for the guys with 3:73s

Guys, I have a 2008 with 3:31s stock in the rear-end. I want a little more gear, but I don't want to sacrifice too much highway drivability. Is there much sacrifice with a 3:73 gear, compared to a 3:55? For you guys with 3:73, any regrets? Thanx men!

I have the 3:73's in my '08 Bullitt and it turns 2000 RPM at 65 MPH, smooth, quiet and 22-24 MPG on the highway.

I had the 3.31s as well and went to 4.10s. I debated 3.73s/4.10s for awhile before I finally just sprung for the 4.10s. Very glad I did, I love them a lot. A lot of people are happy with 3.73s but it seems like just as many wish they would have gone with 4.10s. In the end its up to you.

with 4.10 you give up too much highway IMO. Considering the OP wants highway driveability to remain intact, I'd recommend 3.73 for manual, 3.93 for auto. 4.10 if fine for tracking and city, but not so much for highway.

The question is do you have a manual or auto?

4.10 for manual and 3.73 for auto...period.

I have the 3.73's (auto). There are times that I wish I had went 4.10's, but most of the time I'm cool with the 3.73's. Down the road I hope to go FI, so I wouldn't want anything higher than 3.73's for that.

When you go FI with those gears you're gonna have a tough time keeping traction.

I wan't aware that anyone made 3.93's? Is that a typo? If not, who makes them? Thanks.
