I have the 14" one from AmericanMuscle; but I have considered removing it all together, having the hole filled and installing a antenna behind the rear view mirror.

The method that 2L8IWIN posted is the only other cheap alternative to taking it to a body shop.

I've got the 8" from AmericanMuscle, and I love it. It doesn't have that "Hey, I'm a 50 foot tall antenna, look at me!" look.

The length of the antenna is in direct relationship to the wavelength of the stations that are broadcasting. Ford likes to pull in radio stations from Mars...

HAHA true!!

Here's the link to the tutoral to delete your antenna:

I think i might have to do that!! looks pretty cool and it wont cost nearly as much as taking it to the body shop and getting the thing repainted!!

Here's another option... a 3.5 incher. I like mine I don't listen to the radio much but it works in town when i do listen. Haven't tried it out in the country yet.

They do make 'hidden amplified' antennas if you go the delete route.

Im shaved Cost me $150. Before I had it shaved I just drove without the thing. My car cover requires the antenna to be off, and it looked way better without it.
