haha idkk i'm thinkin if its worth headache with 20% all around tint.. lol

 

I'm getting 15% put on monday. Should i put a tint strip on the windsheild or nothing?

 

Really? I'm in NC as well and I'm about to get my windows tinted. I'd like to get around 20 or so but a friend of mine moved up from Florida and the inspection garage wouldn't pass him unless he had the tint removed (15% I think)... Is that kind of a hit or miss thing or do you have a friend in the mechanic industry?

 

I'm in MI, too, and on my GrandAm GT I had 5% on the backs with 15% on the front sides. The GrandAm was black with a dark interior, so the windows looked pitch black. I live right by a State Police post and always met up with cops at the stop light right in front of the post. Never once did they even look over or give me any funny looks. I always parked that car in the driveway, so they new right where I lived, no doubt.

But, that said, I would not go with the 5% again. Was pretty difficult to see out at night. I'm thinking of going 35% all around on my '08 GT.
