Default i think i have a problem with my throttle body!!! help!!!

i own a 4.6 06 mustang, i installed k&n CAI, ever since my car has died shortly after starting, and if put my fut on the gas to rev it up! it dies straight away!!! this has happened three times (the third was a couple of days ago)my dealer is driving me crazy cause im not sure if they actually know how to fix this, let alone fix anything!!!!! i have been told by a friend that this could be caused by the CAI.....
to explain further he said that because higher airflow is rushing into the engine the sensors at the throttle body are being affected!!! im no expert but it sounded reasonable!! anyways..last time it died i unplugged the two cables going into the sensors and plugged them back in again and the car started just fine!! could that be a mere coincident???? plz help i really want to get to the bottom of this

You didn't mention you installed a tune. Did you tune it? If not, there is your problem.

You're correct about the K&N intake not requireing a tune. Did you install put the MAF sensor in the new intake backwards?

Try disconnecting the battery for 15-20 minutes to reset the PCM. Check to see if the TB butterflies are dirty or if the MAF sensor is dirty.

Has it done this since you unplugged/plugged back in the wiring harness? If not, you found your problem.

return it to stock and see if the problem remains. If not then their is an issue with the CAI, if there is still a problem take it in under warrantee.

i know i should try that but im planning to put on a few mods and i was hoping for a straight answer! some guy told me i should get 62mm bbk throttle body it would ease the flow on the sensors!! does that sound reasonable to anyone???
