Funny, similar situation happened to me. We're mid-40's and had been struggling with kids and the "crap" family life throws at you. Wife comes home one night, says "I was behind a Mustang GT at a stoplight tonight... wow, that car sounds awesome..." By the end of the next weekend we had one in our garage.

Life is indeed too short and obviously you only figure this out when it's get to be really shorter. So to all the many youngsters on here... whatever it is, (and it's legal ), go for it. Soon enough life willput its handcuffs on you.

 

When I got my 07 V6 I wasnt even looking for a new mustang. I didnt thnk I could aford a new one. I went looking for a used one with low Millage. I love the S197 so I was hoeing to find a 05 used. I ended up getting the 07 for a better price then a used 05. Man I love it, Im the only one at work with a S197. Everyone always coments on it. I keep getting "so when you going to sell me the stang"

2 days after I got the 07 4.0, My partner called me up and ask me to bring him the Jeep. He got the 08GT. So now we got 2 mustangs, a daily driver for me and a GT for us to have fun cruise around in. sometimes all I can say is, God i love American muscule

congrats!! you found the best color too, red is the fastest colorA CAI/Tune &dual exhaust should be the first things you do then i love the look of white stripes on red cars, so that is an option for you. But be ready to open up your pockets, this forum will get you wanting to spend all your money of mods
