We had a major family ordeal...and came through better than we could have ever imagined. I have spent enough time in the dez recently to reflect on the fragile nature of life...but it is easy to slip back into a routine and forget about what is important.

Every time I see these...I think...someday...

Last night we went out to dinner and while waiting for a table, we browsed the dealer lot next to the restaurant. Fell in love with this car (had a Signal Flare Red '66 back in the day!). My wife said "...treat yourself babe, you deserve it."

So I did! I have not smiled this hard in quite some time. I didn't even care about the whole purchase and price negotiation...I just wanted this car. I was in and out of the dealer in under two hours...and an hour of that was waiting on them to detail the car.

Life is indeed short. Will never have to say someday any more!

LOVE this car...the whole subdivision was over looking at it. Red with the khaki leather looks primo...and the Pony Package brings it all together.

Now I have LOTS of reading to do on the site (my first post tonight!)

My old man used to have a barn full of 66's and is down to two...that he never drives. I called him and told him what I just did and he asked me to walk the lot and look for a blue one!

Any must dos? I am sure I have a few thousand threads to read! HERE SHE IS!!!
