Default wiring question

right now i have my sirius radio mounted just behind my shifter, with the power wiring going under my cupholders into the power outlet inside the center console. i'm going to hard wire the power so that my sirius will turn off with my car. i know i can find a source in my fuse box, but i remember reading a thread months ago where someone stated that there's an unused plug (manual tranny only) under the cupholders once you take the center console out. is anyone familiar with this??

my question is......which color wire is the power wire??

i'm not sure what that is....can you elaborate for me?? perhaps it's necessary, because for the life of me, i couldn't get it to work. I've done wiring before (car systems, subs, etc) but this simple task floored me. i need help

it was suggested to me in another thread to hardwire mine into the fusebox in the passenger side kickpanel box. You can buy a fuseadapter that allows you to plug into an empty fuse location and it has a hot wire pigtail coming out of it. You can pick the fuse size to go into the fuse holder...2 amp slo-blo for the Sirius. I have not done this yet. Plan on doing it this week coming up while I am on vacation....
