Be creative people - - Find a look that nobody has! THAT will make your car stand out!
Sure, I'll just get Chip Foose to make me a set of custom one-offs for about, oh, a couple grand each...

I might not be creative, but at least I've narrowed my choice down to two extremely similar wheels, with a classic "old muscle car" design that I like (I'm have no intentions of trying to please anyone but me with this car). Now I just got to find the right size and the right tires.

DonW...

I love that look... I orderd my car with the Ford Factory Polished Alum with spinners. That will give my car a pretty cool look out of the starting block until I decide what "different" thing I want to do. I'm also going with Raised White Letter Tires.. like on my old cobra below.

These wheels are still my favorite out of all the ones I've seen so far but they look nicer on a darker colored car than a lighter colored one (Satin Silver in my case).

Why are SO many people changing the wheels these days? I think the base model GT (bullit style) wheels are damn cool. I agree with the comment that there are SO many flashy wheels out there already that is starting to get ricey! I know I shouldn't talk because my wheels are so damn big and flashy, but at least they are stock for the S281.

Any thread thats starts with What Do Think or Whats Your Opinion is going to be like opening up a can of worms! I say do what YOU like to YOUR car and not worry about what others think. You don't need to re-assure your actions with our opinions

Enjoy

Exactly why I went with the bullit style wheel. Now granted, they are not the gray that is the baseline stock wheels, I went with black. But there isn't anything that can be considered rice with this.

The wheels and tires are getting closer and closer to the "Ricer" look... next thing you know people will be wanting to pu 6" diameter chrome exhaust tips with Neon lighting on their Mustangs.

PW... This reminds me of when I was in picking my car up from the local dealer after having it lowered. The techs were gathered outside and one of them said I needed neon lights! Now... I'm a man's man and 37 year old adult.

AARRGGG... Neon? On a Mustang? On MY mustang?!?!

Holy crap he's lucky I was in a good mood! I did everything in my power to not choke the guy!

LOL!!!!! I know. Think if I was there and the mech mentioned foreign car stuff like Neon lights or fart sack mufflers or chrome inserts for tail lights etc... I'd flatten him or choke some sense into him also.
