Here's what its down to...
Ok so been talking to my father about changing the exhaust...again. my father tried to help me out and put some stainless steel magnaflows on my 07 GT. So heres the deal. ive done tons of research and tons of listening to clips and such and it comes down to this... I like the sound of the Boomtubes and i like the sound of the Flowmasters super 44. my father has always been a big fan of flowmaster. has them on two of his vehicles. ive let him listen to clips of both boomtubes and 44s. he uses a guy here locally in mycity who he talked to today and said that he could take off my magnaflows and put on super 44s for $225 including labor which is amazing becuz online the exhaust itself is like 300-350. so heres the deal. i like the boomtubes but my dad's muffler guy said hes never heard of them. im trying to decide whether to buy the 300 dolla boomtubes and let the guy put them on or let him order and put on flowmasters super 44s for 225... need some advice gentlemen

I say go for the flomasters. Boomtubes are basicly just sttraight pipes. If that is what you want the have the guy just cut out the mufflers and weld on some pipes with tips out the back

Boomtubes are NOT just straight pipes. They have baffling around the inside edges that really does change and smooth the tone out. I know from direct experience because I had SLPs (those are straight pipes) and I switched to Boomtubes. The tone is much, much different.

Looks like I'll just need to get the real deal.
