Default What kind of Performance increase can I expect with this package

So I've been debating a Saleen SC for my 2007 GT for a while but it's finally hit me that I really don't need to spendTHAT much money on the Mustang to have a fairly decent ride thats quicker than most on the road. So as an alternative I was thinking something like this.

BBK Intake System
BBK Underdrive Pulleys
JBA Long Tubes and Short offroad H

How much extra power do you guys think I can squeeze from that if properly tuned? Think I can shave a second or two stock times? Got any other suggestions for bolts ons? I've already got a suspension system. I figure this setup would give me a nice mean sound with a little extra power to back it up. From waht I hear an Intake and tune can do wonders for the 05+ Stangs.

You're probably looking at +35 (rough guess, might be an overestimate) or so horsepower with those mods and depending on the tune. No way it'll take 2 seconds off your 1/4 mile time.

The intake alone won't buy you much; maybe 5-7 RWHP. The CAI & tune combo can net you about 15-25 RWHP. Check out www.brenspeed.com for info on packages. Other good tuners are Bama, VMP and Evolution.

UDP's are good for about 3-5 RWHP.

Not sure about LT's, perhaps 5-10 RWHP. I don't believe the O/R H will do much either since the stock exhaust flows darn well for OE. If you want sound, a set of axlebacks (again, no performance gain there) will totally change the tone.

I'm sure others more in-the-know about the UDP's and LT's will help.

You should probably have around 305-310rwhp with that combo. You MIGHT shave a second off your 1/4 mile time if you get some good tires and can drive. 2 seconds no way not even with the saleen SC.

Right so 100hp = 1 second in the quarter mile. You bassically asked if a full intake and exhaust can increase your hp 66%. I'd go into analogies etc but that's just something ridiculous buddy.

Drag radials = .5 seconds in the quarter mile and you could get 50 crank HP max with this, mainly due to the headers and tune I think, but if you add those together you'd be lucky to get .9 seconds. So yeah you're not getting two seconds or even one.

Well, I did say 1 OR 2. Relax...[sm=smiley17.gif] I'll just delete it from my post, I know I wont get 11's with those mods but it should put make me a little faster than everyone else on the street right? Maybe low 13's high 12's with street tires and a decent driver?

Depends on where you live. Don't expect to be running with vetts, AMG mercedies etc. When I went home to visit my parents in Orange County there is a LOT of faster cars. Lots of modded STI's, EVO's, TT 350z's. It will make your car quick for a street car but I wouldn't go out trying to race people all the time in it.
