Default Comprehensive list of good sounding high flow cats?

I live in a state with very strict visual inspection laws so i have to have some cats.

I'm looking for a set that sounds as good as possible for an LT install, i'm very much about upgrading my car and currently I'm running GTA muffler and don't want to ruin the sound as that wouldn't be an upgrade. Some people like to focus on one area, but I like to have a total package.

What cats hould I buy that improve both prefromance and sound?

If you want a GREAT sounding exhaust, a good starting point (something that comes with Cats) is the Bassani Modular X-pipe like I have. It comes with the X-pipe, High Flow cats, and cat delete piping. I LOVE the sound of it, even on the stock headers and mufflers.
I am trying to post a video... but for some reason I cannot copy and paste...

Stay tuned... I will get it up sooner or later.

EDIT: I got it.... here you go. This was with the Bassani Modular X, 2 days after install, and no mufflers. I have since put the factory mufflers back on the car though.

Yeah i was looking at videos of he bassani catted X earlier. GTA's create a smooth but higher pitched sound. The bassani catted X also smooths out the exhaust, so smooth + smooth = not so good sounding all you're left with is the added sound by the GTA's and not a fuller or deeper exhaust note.

I've always used Random Tech cats. Love the sound, and they've always held up fine for me.

I have the Kooks with the catted X pipe. They sound ok, but now they offer a catted H pipe. I bet that it would have a much better sound to it.

I'm confused - are you asking about cats or a catted H/X pipe?

I beleive I can buy a prochamber and simply fab in a set of cats, because the prochamber commes with special piping designed to mate up to my longtubes (same company), or I can simply put on an already made X/H-pipe with some fabrication work. It would be a little cheeper/better sounding to go the second route I probably. I don't think if I mentioned that originally people would get it as that's complicated. Good question.
