I had a mustang gt etc....I built it into a GT350 tribute....with saleen etc and many many mods, body changes badges etc...I sold it as a 2005 Mustang GT......there is no such beast as a 05+ mustang gt350 as of yet......the name is reserved for possible future use...now IF YOU Have a shelby gt (OFTEN confused with the gt350 ) that is still not a gt350, but is indeed a shelby. hopefully you did not pay some markup for a moded GT that someone sold as something it was not,....

.but you are so both sides of the fence....you come here and have given negative opinions on those who build clones , tributes etc....yet you go on to areas where people talk about buying the actual thing (GT500 shelby gt etc) and contradict yourself by advising someone that they can build a car as a gt500 but cheaper....which is it???

its true i have seen it also. i have seen cars at dealerships that have a gt350 stripes and gt300 stripes. they dont say shelby on them just gt350. but i have also seen dealerships sell fake dressed up gt500s and roushes..

I just did a keyed/vandalized car from a member here.
We removed the dealer installed 300 GT lower side stripes.
So yes, some dealers do pile on garbage on the new cars[:@].
