Check and see if you have your Cats on it or not.. Removing the cats with flows can cause this.. My F150 with a v8 has the same set up, no cats and flows, and it pops..

Not like that. Its more subtle.

It makes the car seem like it has engine problems or some ****.

I've heard the Pypes mid-muffler system is good, but I don't know from experience. I'm not sure about your custom H, but if you feel it needs to be replaced get the JBA H-pipe and midpipes. I have that on my car andit's great. As far as mufflers go, I have Borla Stingers. They have a great tone(some say one of the best you can get with a V6), don't pop much, and they look great. They do have drone and at 2000 RPM it can be annoying! At any other RPM they sound amazing. Even if you don't want the Stingers, another pair of mufflers will match up great with the JBA H .

This isn't my car, but same set-up:

your going to get alot of opinions because everyone likes their set up "best". its always a matter of opinion, but ive heard so many different setups. ill give you my opinion, I have steeda, axle back which is the same as borla, per borla, but a little quieter. ive heard magnaflow, with BBK longtube headers, and shorty x pipe with cats, american thunder (40 series), pypes, and slp..this past weekend for the first time ive heard a MAC full setup, headers with , o/r prochamber and axle back...i was very impressed, deep tone, no popping (this can also be due a/f being too rich) which i also find annoying, BTW good luck finding any dealer that has an o/r prochamber in stock, their the hottest thing going right now.
