well.. incase you don't know.. best thing is to just start the process with your insurance company. If they do catch the guy it can still take awhile for the proof to come around and for their insurance company to say they are going to pay for it so just to get your car back to normal as quickly as possible you'll have to pay your deductible (for me comprehensive and collision is the same deductible so wouldn't matter for me) In either case you aren't at fault so your rates shouldn't go up, but some companies/states allow premium increases simply because a claim was filed. If that is the case I'd recommend finding a new insurance company because most of the big names don't do that. (State Farm is the biggest, All State and Farmers follow) If they catch him his insurance company will reimburse your deductible and if he isn't insured then you'll have to go to small claims court probably. Proving who the driver was though may require some work from your neighbors and hopefully you have some cops around there who really want to nail him. Otherwise they'll blow it off and say they can't do anything because he claims he wasn't driving that night. That's what happened to my sister in a hit and run where they found the guys car broken down but he fled. She just had to eat the cost of the deductible.

Dude that **** looks horrible. All i got to say is take it with a grain of salt and hopefully your luck will be better in the future. What goes around comes around.
