Hello All,

I am finally going to have my windows tinted on my 05 GT Silver Ext. With Light Charcoal Interior. I was advised to get 35% grade tint. I don't want it so dark that I can't see out the window at night, and I don't want it to light where it is pointless to have them tinted. Florida State Law is 25% max grade. Any Suggestions?

I'd prolly do 25% tbh...32% you can barely tell is tinted, and my 20% seems a bit too dark.

 

ya 35 is not that tinted at all if u can get away with 25% that would be just fine i think i have 20% and i can see out of mine fine in the city but the country is another story

 

I got 5% and it makes the car look bad azz! The darker you make it, the meaner it'll look...

 

I've got 40% on the front and 5% on the back and have no trouble at night with seeing out the back. FWIW.

 

GW... what's the CA legal limit on the doors? I want to try to get mine done this weekend.

 

i went with Global 20% all the way around... I am in Diego and I would suggest going to to Street Smarts of El Cajon Blvd.. Bad **** work!!!!

Second in CA you are not suppose to have frt side windows tinted...
but i do and have had no problems. It you get a real **** cop then it will be a fix it ticket, i think most cops dont care as long as they can see you

 

aye, its out in country where i live with no street lights the 20% sucks...but in a city its fine. BTW, I did get the strip across top of windshield in 5%, very nice and no longer have to use the visors =)

 

I live in Chesterfield VA. Does anyone know the law here??
