Default Muffler question

I recently had my Bassani Race axle backs taken off of the car. Right now I have a Bassani x pipe [high flow cats] and no mufflers.

It sounds great, but I might tame it down a bit so my kids can ride in the car...it's looouuuuddddd.

Anyboy have an idea where I can get some mufflers that would sound good but not quiet the car down much? I want to put some small mufflers right behind the x pipe before you go over the axle [I guess similar to Pypes mid muffler system].

Somebody give me some ideas...thanks.

Just buy some resonators and have an exhaust shop weld you on some nice tips.

Exhaust shop has already welded some nice tips. I just want to tone it down a tad...maybe not, it sounded really good just a second ago when I took it for a drive[8D]

But IF...IF my wife thinks it's too loud for the kids then I'm looking for something just to barely tame it...I guess I could have resonators welded in after the x pipe.

Right now the axle back area is just pipe and SS tips. It's already done...just might be a "tad" loud...maybe not

Either way I do have to go back to the exhaust shop [:@]...the clamps sent to me with my x pipe won't hold up, so I'll have to have the high flow cats welded in...keep having a small exhaust leak. Nothing big...but I'm **** about it, so I have to have it fixed.

Do you still have the Bassani"s? or did you sell them?

Sold the Bassani Race ab's to a guy on here.

I guess if you guys wanna hear it I can make a vid. I'll have to go out and do it after I fix my small exhaust leak though. The car's not quite as deep as my 2000 w/out cats [we all know they sound different] but it does sound really good IMO.
