Old-School Shelby tail lights

RE: Old-School Shelby tail lights
That's a great effort at some retro tail lights. I would seriously consider buying those if they came to market less than $400.
I think the stock tail light design of the S197 deserves a big F. Of all the great retro design cues, I think Ford really botched the tail lights. They are too big and square. I would have liked smaller true tri-bar style lights.
Other than doing major body work, the only way that I can think of to get the stock tail lights looking more retro is to buy that trim piece that goes around each "bar" of the lights, and then painting it body color. Sort of setting off each "bar" as it's own individual light.
Anyways... good idea, good luck, and I'd love to see some pictures of your prototype.

That would be pure sweetness if you could make them looking like that. Of course, as was said by Xargon321, they'd need to be compatible with sequentials. And what do you plan on doing with the reverse lamps?
