Well, the main differences are (in order of importance for me)

1) Two toned seats
2) 18" Polished Aluminum Wheels
3) Different Front and Rear Fascias
4) Fading Side Stripe
5) Costs like $2k more

So, do you like the two tone interior? How important is it to you? Because the only other way to get a two tone like that from factory is to get a GT500. If you really like it and it's worth 2k more to you, well then by all means get it.

Are you going to switch out your wheels later? If so, maybe the 2k purchase price isn't quite as worth it. If not, well, hey - the wheels do look good and are relatively cheap as part of the CS package.

Do you like the fascias? Are they worth that much more to you? Because you can always change a normal GT's to those fascias...albeit at a lartge price

What color are you going to get? Is the fading side stripe goign to look good? IMO, they look extremely sharp on white and grabber orange GT/CSs - for the rest, you either have to be up close to notice, or else they just don't look quite as good.

So as yourself those questions and see if those changes are worth it to you for $2,000. Will thsoe changes really bring you an extra $2k worth of happiness? If yes, then go for it. If no, then, well - hey, you'll have an extra 2k in your pocket.

They have the exact same horsepower as a normal GT.

Performancewise, they should be *exactly* the same. The GT/CS is completely an appearance package.

I would go with whichever one is the best deal at the time of purchase! If the dealership can give you a better deal on the normal GT, youcan not only save money, but have more things to modify in the future!
