Does anyone know if the 2007-2008 CDC Shaker hood kit will work on the 2009 models? I'll be picking my new car up in about 2 weeks and I'd like to have it ready to install, if it will work that is.

As far as I know the only change to this years model is ambient lighting, and SIRUS radio being standard. Just trying to make sure nothing else got changed before I spend $835 plus install.

I was at the dealership this morning getting my oil changed and tires rotated. I was thumbing through the 2009 Mustang book and apparently there's a glassback option. Whoot. Factory glass roof!

I have a shaker on my '06. Check this out. In 05-06, the cars did not come with the "Powered By Ford" plenum cover. It was not even an option until 07 if i'm not mistaken. The throttle body bolts for the later cars are a tad bit longer in case the car was equipped with the plenum cover from the factory, or if the buyer wanted to purchase one later. That being said...the shaker uses the top 2 tb bolts to secure it in the front.I think that is the only difference in the yearmodel kits. That's why you'll see the shaker advertised as fitting either an 05-06...or an 07-08. They are different part numbers. Cervinis even does this on their B2 hood kits. As far as i know said plenum is an option on the 09. It should have the longer TB bolts, so a 07-08 shaker should fit just fine. No other differences that i am aware of regarding this. If i'm wrong please correct me. My Uncle got his 06 before i did. He saw that "Powered By Ford" plenum on a concept car a few years back and was disappointed when they weren't available. In late 06 he got word that they would be on the 07 appearance package cars so he ran down to the dealership and talked to a friend of his at the service department who put him on a list. When it came in, he had recieved the first plenum cover to be delivered to any dealership in the whole city (he was excited about that.) His excitement was turned around briefly when he found out it wouldn't work because his 06 had the shorter TB bolts. Same service department buddy ordered him a set of 07 TB bolts and it went right on. Sorry this was so long. That's how i came to find out the difference and why they make shakers for different year models. Wheeeeew.

The difference between the 05-06 shaker and the 07-09 shaker is a cut out for a hose. All mounting is the same.

Also the glass roof option from ford is available only on new cars. Its installed at the factory level. They wont have kits available at the dealer for install on 05-08 cars.

It's been a little while. But if I remember correctly the Shaker actually came with new TB Bolts...
