Default stupid city workers

yesterday, my wife and i went to my inlaws house to do the visiting thing[:'(]

either way, my car was parked at the end of their driveway which ties into the street. one of those city trucks that patch pot holes with the giant arm sprayerattachment in the front was driving around doing his patching thing. well, he started patching holes kinda close to the house but i never thought anything of it.

well, when we went to leave, i noticed that he has sprayed this crap into a hole close to my car and all that tar ricochet off theground and went all down the side of my car. i spent overtwo hours yesterday evening with bug and tar remover getting all this crap off. it was on there thick.

i was so pissed but dont really think i can do anything about it.......k, pissed off rant over.

on to bigger and better things, my D/S and relocation brackets go on this evening....that i am excited about

also ordering a whole zex kit w/ accessories next week.....excited x2

did that today, they asked his truck number...i didnt have that info so it got me no where.i asked her if they could look up who they dispached out to that street around 5:00pm yesterday and i think she was in awe that she was talking to someone with common sense...caught her off guard for a sec and then she said she still needed his truck number

no biggy, i asked her to tell her drivers to be more careful and respectful of other people's property. i actually gained some satisfaction in just making her stutter looking for a comeback to my question

The best thing to do is take pictures of the car and the street, then call and complain and tell them you have some pictures to email. Who knows maybe they will pay to get it removed.

the paying to get it removed wasnt a big deal. 2 hours of my time and $3.68 for a bottle of bug and tar remover...its just the fact that they have no consideration for other people's property

At least you called.....you could have flipped out on her just for fun
i thought about it but a situation is usually handled better and you can usually walk away with more if all involved partys keep their cool...once someone starts cussing or yelling, the other person jumps on the defensive and it becomes a shouting match and the actual issue at hand hardly ever gets addressed
