Default Hollow stripes - for lack of better name

kids, don't try this at home. [&o]

I had an idea that the outline of 10" stripes might look good. Maybe someone else had tried it, but I couldn't find an image. I GIMP'd a photo but it wasn't convincing and I couldn't get it out of my head so I mocked it up to see first hand. I did it quick with cheap $3 pin stripe material, and yea....I know it is wavy, crooked, etc. I made a couple of quick measurements and eye-balled most of it. I just did the hood and nose to get an idea. Even if it were a perfect job I think it would still look like A$$. Maybe it would look better on a different color than SS, but I doubt it... ah well.

have a look anyway.

Good idea but it looks unfinished, like someone started the job but got fed up with it and left... LOL. At least the mock up helped you to make a decision.

The worst stripe combo I've seen was a yellow 10 inch racing (dual) stripe on an orange GT. Looked like the car was parked on the center line when the road painting crew went by.

I would love to see 10" yellow stripes on a black GT with chrome wheels. that would look badass.

Good creativity but I still think solid stripes look much better.

I think it might look good if you had a matte silver where the stripes should be with the black outlining them
