Default Gears !

ok so on every mod to do list everyone list gears and people are even saying not only does it give you crazy acceleration but it makes your car feel similar to a V8 .

I know they come in 4.10 and 3.73 but everyone suggest the 3.73 and that the 4.10 would be too much with only a $175 price point sounds great but I head you must buy other things.

So can someone give me some info on Gears.

1.How much will this hurt my gas mileage - answer in mpg plz?
2.what else to I need to buy to install my gears?
3.Is there anything I need to do while driving to get the best effect of them with a Auto ?

i wouldnt say it will feel like a V8. And i would get a 8.8 rear so you wont have the1 wheel spinning. Otherwise you wont get the benefit of the new gears anyway

You don't have to get an 8.8 rear end. You only need one if your going to be throwing down more power. If you plan to supercharge in the future than it's a good idea.

You could get a T-lock on your 7.5 rear end and it would get power to both wheels.

so really all I need is some 3.73 gears and a T-lock , yeah I might supercharge my car like 2 years from now or something lol .

so how much does 3.73 hurt my gas and also would this be enough to justify buying a gt stock sway bar for "improved handling"
