Went on the dyno today
went to a mustang meet in CT today, it was a pretty good turn out, it was for a charity, 30$ for 3 pulls, I didnt even know the shop existed and are about 30-45 mins from my house, lots cool cars there, lots of termis and s197s...so my father and I thought we would check it out, i met both of the owners of the shop both nice guys, they have a KILLER deal going on, buy a procharger or STS turbo kit from them and they do the install and tune for free, and you have to purchase it by july 19th tho, im SO pissed i dont have the cash right now for that, anyways it was a good day, i put down 311RWHP/303RWTQ and my dad put down 281RWHP/276RWTQ..im running a 93 race tune from brenspeed, and he showed my the map, he said my AFR was horrible my average AFR was 11.2 and my lowest 10.6 which is really rich. He said most turbo/supercharged mustangs are in that range with the AFRs. He said he would hook me up if i went back for a retune before the end of this week, he would take 100$ off..now i cant decide if the retune is really that important or should i go ahead and buy a new set of rims this week. I was quite pleased with my numbers, but the map of my air/ fuel ratio is really ugly and he said he could pull a lot more horses out of the car he said 10-15..and im going to the track this saturday to get some more seat time, i was hitting 13.8s last time i went. i was thinking a retune could prolly pull my times down, along with more practice in the car, feel free to voice your opinion

i cant see that high even with a good a/f ratio, let alone one as bad as he says your is. And there is no way he is getting and extra 10-15 HP out of that to get you over 320....people with all the bolts ons minus cams and heads dont even get that high sometimes.
generally a GT starts our with 260-270 stock HP for the manual....you are claiming a 40-50 HP incease with a a/f ratio that i am suprised the car runs really!
