I have SLP axel-back on my 05 GT, and i'm looking for something that is a little bit louder, maybe deeper too. The mustang has a H-pipe stock correct? What would happene if i went with an X-pipe with cats?? As i think an off-road x-pipe with no cats would just be too loud. Any thoughts?

I have Pypes O/R X with my loudmouths.............Had it on for about a week, I got the shop to put in High Flo Cats, to Lower the sound it was extremely loud without cats, but sounds pretty good IMO, with cats and the X, especially at higher RPM.

Unfortunately theres no such thing as just a "little" louder with the slps. a catted X will be very loud, nowhere as bad as anO/R X, but still "wake the dead loud"....so just be prepared if you go that route! FWIWI think the catted x/slp sounds mean as hell!

So, the stang has a stock H-pipe right? Why do guys put on different H-pipes then? So if i put on a catted X-pipe with my SLP's, what do you think i could expect? I searched around for videos, i couldn't really find any. Jord

these are clips of my car with a bassani catted x-pipe and slp loudmouths. they were taken on a crappy digital camera so the sound isn't the best but you should get an idea. i get lots of compliments on it and I'm really happy with it.

Tomorrow I'm taking the car out to get a quote on something I'm getting done, I'll take the Vid Camera and get some fresh clips.

It will be O/R Pypes X with Highflo Cats put in, and the SLP Loudmouths

Ive got 5 differentaxlebacks, and thats the only one i never tried with the bassani cattedX, so if im bored this weekend ill try it out! LOL....where you at in N.J?? also is your car an auto?
