The drone is TERRIBLE and if you want to talk to your passengers then don't get MACs. I had Kooks Resonators installed and it eliminated the drone but still keeps that awesome muscle car sound.

Also, some trumpeting occurs with MACs (chambered mufflers)so if you don't like that then look for something else...

Good Luck.

I have MAC's on my GT and absolutely love them. I have heard quite a few other set ups but nothing has compared to the MAC's. If you want a nice deep sound they are the way to go. They do drone a little but it doesn't bother me so I guess it depends on your tastes.

Thanks guys, I am really having a hard time deciding on what brand axlebacks I want. I had my my mind set on the FRPP GTA's but I afraid that they won't be loud enough. I don't want drone!!!

I have a set of MACs at home with only acouple thousand miles on them.I took them off because I went with Long Tube Headers and an Off Road H-pipe. I loved the sound of them with a stock exhaust, but not with my current set-up so I went back to stock mufflers. I would buy the GTAs and if you dont like them, I will swap my MACs for your GTAs. Just an offer.Neither can lose.

If you want loud, dont go with GTA's. They are only slightly louder than stock, but most of the attraction to them is the look of their tips. I think close to the loudest you can get without going mufflerless or the o/r route is with MACs.
