im considering the mac axle backs also for my 06 5 speed gt. about all i wanna do performance wise is a nice set of axle backs and a cold air intake

how would this set up sound?

I think the steel ages over time from the constant heating and cooling combined with the build-up of carbon to sound better( or at least more mellow) JMO

I have a set of MACs at home with only acouple thousand miles on them.I took them off because I went with Long Tube Headers and an Off Road H-pipe. I loved the sound of them with a stock exhaust, but not with my current set-up so I went back to stock mufflers. I would buy the GTAs and if you dont like them, I will swap my MACs for your GTAs. Just an offer.Neither can lose.
