0-60 Time after mods...

RE: 0-60 Time after mods...
as howarmat states in a manual 0-60 comes up FAST when you really get on these machines. I've got 3.55 gears andsomewhere below 4 or 5k rpm I would guess. with 4.10s I would think quicker ET wise (higher rpm tho).
is it 13.5 for a stock GT?
I guess that is with a good driver (I am still working on the all-important Driver Mod.)

RE: 0-60 Time after mods...
After I installed my CAI and Brenspeed 93 tune, I timed mine using the data recorder function of the XCalibrator II and a laptop. It did 0-60 in 5.3 sec. I have a 3.31 and an auto.

Well the way i see it is.. if a bmw 135i does the 1/4 mile in 13.3 and 0-60 in 4.6, and if your slightly modded you can easily achieve a 13.3, so under 5 isn't out of the question at all IMO.

I was also curious...Would LCA's \ UCA's really make much of a difference in times? How much harder do they help you launch?

RE: 0-60 Time after mods...
I can run a sub-4second 0-60 at the track, which translates to about 4.2-4.3 seconds on the street. This is a full bolt-on setup that is tuned. 4.5 is pretty easy to hit with all the basics and gearing, but is up to the driving ability much more than the car's.
Your 0-100 times are a much better indicator of the car's speed. For example, going from 4.10s to 4.30s, my 0-60 went UP, but my 1/4mile ET dropped by about a tenth.
