Default 0-60 Time after mods...

Ok , so a stock 5 speed 07 GT should optimally run 5-5.3 seconds to 60mph... and the 1/4 mile around 13.5..

My question is has anyone timed their stang 0-60 after their mods... Im curious of what to expect if i were to go from 3.55s to 4.10s, and add a brenspeed 91 tune and UDP's.

Is 4.5 seconds to 60mph, asking for too much?

Well, I was only getting about 5.6 0-60 before mods. I'll try to time it with CAI and Tune. I'd say I'm closer to the 5.3 range now. But I'm an auto also.

0-60 times really dont mean squat.....1/4 times mean everything....you can knock a couple tenths off (.3) the quarter mile time

I was also curious...Would LCA's \ UCA's really make much of a difference in times? How much harder do they help you launch?

I'm guessing 0-60 times matter more in a street race than they do at a track, or on this board for that matter. It must mean something since almost every major mag uses it as one of their tests when they review a car.

yes those suspension parts will help you hook much better and get better track times.

The reason a 0-60 time really is useless is becuase you are only running for a couple seconds, yes they are part of the overall picture but most people on here are not going to know their 0-60 time, they will know their 60 ft and 1/4 and maybe 1/8 times

I wouldn't say 0-60 is useless. There is the fun factor of it. We can't always run our cars full out for 1/4 mile but almost everyone has access to a highway were 60mph is legal. Of course it can be hard to find somewhere where you can come to a complete stop and then accelerate to 60 without running into traffic.
