You will have to either get new bands and put them in the new rims or make a pressure tube to put the sensors in and leave in the trunk

Or just press reset. No big deal!

I'm using the "just press reset" method and I agree it's not a hassle. It's not my DD though... I may feel differently if it was.

well like he said first you can put them all in your spare where the pressure is the same. i would try that if the reset button doesn't work

Those are the options above. I bought strap kits from AmericanMuscle andhad the shop swap the sensors to the new wheels. They didn't charge me extra to pull the sensors from the old wheels and install the straps and sensors on the new ones.

TPMS is a Govt mandated system.
Cant be disabled or shut off.
It can be tricked.
You have to either transfer the sensors to the new wheels
or put them in a piece of pressurized PVC tube in the trunk.

I just hit Reset (and turn TCS off) each time I start the car, but I only drive it once a week or so.

What happens if you get into an accident and kill someone because of a tire that was not properly inflated (or something along those lines)??. I'm sure you can have a hefty lawsuit or government action against you.

Play it safe and do it the right way - my opinion of course
