How do I disconnect the fuel line on the driver side close to the strut tower? it has a red clip but I cant figure it out.

 

Are you talking about the solid round silver clip that looks like it has a spring underneath it? Go to the auto parts store and get a fuel line disconnect tool. You can usually get a whole set with different sizes for like $5.

 

I have a V6 its a red plastic quick connect. I dont see a spring but when I open the flap on the connector i can see 2 pieces of plastic forming a clamshell around the metal fuel line.
