Side louvers from hubcapsplus
So, I just got my side louvers from hubcapsplus, after reading about them and seeing pics of them here.
I'm a bit underwhelmed. The paint match is OK, not great. The painted parts I got from Midwest are
much closer than these. But, the real bummer is that the inside surface is not only unpainted, but bright
white. From inside the car, they look like complete a$$, I'm thinking they need to be painted on the inside.
Not sure what I was expecting, maybe black I guess. Anyone else's come this way? Any recommendations
on what paint to use (these things are plastic, I assume?).
Thx,

hmm mine matched perfectly and the inside was black, which matches my interior perfectly.

This worries me, I'm gettin' close to wanting my louvers and I was going to get the hubscapplus ones... was told the match is great, but since we have the same color I'm having second thoughts, lemme know what comes of this with them...
I just spent some time outside with a friend, I'm not sure what to make of the color match. I think the
problem is that the alloy metallic has, what my painter of my stripes called, side tones. How when you
look at it from different angles, different colors sort of pop out. I think the fact that the louvers are
angled away from the body allows for those tones to be visible. From some angles, the louvers look
different in color, from some angles, the match looks closer. Very wierd.
I'm surprised that the white inside doesn't bother you guys, I really think it makes the view from the
inside unacceptable.
They haven't responded to me yet.

kinda gray too.
