Can we rotate tires on the S197 GT with stock rims/tires?

Thanks for the reply. I should specify - I have been rotating my tires every 5k, but i was showing a friend here at work the Edmunds.com maint. schedule for every car. I pulled up mine, and there's nothing about rotating tires on there...

I rotate mine back to front, front to back. No changing sides.

As long as your tires are bi-directional and you haven't mixed sizes front to rear, yes you can rotate. If your tires are directional you can only rotate front to rear on theeach side PROVIDING (again) you don't have mixed sizes.

These guys may be right about crossing the rears to the front. I just remember when radials first came out we were warned not to change direction of rotation. I have always just gone fronts to rear, rears to front.

Those days of same side radials to avoid tread seperation are long gone.
Tire Technology has come a long way since then.
