I'm wondering if anyone can tell me how much difference there is between wheels that fit the SN95 Stangs and wheels that fit the S197s. I'm looking at a set of used 17x10 CCW race wheels and tires that came off an SN95 and want to know if there will be any issues with putting them on my 07. I autocrossed on a set of 17x9 Cobra R wheels (borrowed from a guy I let co-drive my car) with no problems. I've asked the seller what the offset is but I haven't gotten a response yet. TIA for any help.

they'll work, as long as you don't plan on lowering it, as they'll be a bit outside of the fender wells, at least that's been the case withall of the sn95 wheels I've seen on s197's(looks a little funny too).

That's good to know because it will be lowered soon. I definitely don't want any rubbing issues on the track. What's the offset difference?

I think they are but i dont know for sure. usually when i see wheels advertised they are for 99-04 so the offset might be different

my car is lowered and I run 24mm offset 17x9 Cobra R's with no issues. they sit flush with the wheelwells.

?26mm? negative offset for S94 rims in relation to
the 39-45-50mm negative offset for OEM S197 rims.

I'm not calling you a liar, but I have trouble believing that. Front, sure, that's possible. But I can't see how 24mm rears would not stick out. Mine are as flush as you can get without sticking out and they're 40mm.

Mine are '03 terminators - 18 x 9 with 26mm offset, and they sit flush with the fenders also.
